Who decides?

A while back ago I did this Photoshoot with her Sonja B.

I already had the pleasure to work with her several times... It's always easy with her, because she knows what she wants to express with her posing... This time it was different. We both didn't really know which style the pictures should have...

So we started and what came out is, in my opinion, something special. Sophisticated, Nostalgic, Emotional yet strong. I love what happens when you just let your emotions flow and give yourself space to express what you feel.

This made me think about how we always plan and plan and again plan our lives instead of just enjoying what we're living right now. We are always worried about tomorrow but seem to forget that with today we already create our tomorrow. I don't know if that makes sense... But to me it does...

Being a father is challenging me in so many ways and particularly in our situation (my daughter hasn't had the best start in life) we always worry about her, but we seem to miss those little moments of pure joy and happiness. So, a while ago, I decided to cherish those moments and not think about what MIGHT could be... In the end, everything that HAS to be, will happen and with every trial you grow and mature... There's nothing we, as a human being, can't handle... So go for it...

With that said, now the question: who decides?

We.

We choose, we live, we decide.

Remember that we didn't know how the pictures should look? But at the end, we unconsciously and intuitively decided. We decided to let us lead from the situation and listen to what our gut tells us to do... You try, you calibrate and you go with the flow instead of fighting against it and all of a sudden something amazing happens. And these are the results of our decision. You decide wether to win or lose, to be happy or sad.
